Seminar presented by Dr. Sarah Herrmann, Assistant Professor, Psychology, Weber State University.

Abstract:
I am a social and cultural psychologist interested in understanding and improving the experiences and performance of underrepresented students in educational contexts. For this talk, I will be discussing what psychology can tell us about the experience of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (i.e., STEM) fields, and how we can use brief psychological interventions to improve performance and retention for women and other underrepresented students in these areas.
