Take the Challenge! Make Clean Air Your Business.

The Clear the Air Challenge is a month long competition starting July 1 that encourages you to reduce your vehicle emissions, improve air quality and reduce traffic congestion in Utah by driving less and driving smarter.

Utah’s air quality is an issue year-round, not just when we have inversion in the winter. The hot, still air of the summer months actually promotes the formation of ozone, which builds along the valley floor. This is called “ground level ozone,” and it’s dangerous to our health.

Take the challenge and enjoy a little friendly competition between students and faculty/staff divisions!
