Event Details - Geoscience and Society

This seminar series introduces students and the campus to the critical role that geosciences play in modern society. We focus on natural resources, natural hazards, climate change, and applied geoscience careers. 

Public lectures: Fridays 1:00-2:00 pm

Student workshops + discussion follows the lectures: 2:00-2:30 pm.

Students: Get credit by registering for GEO 4990 (SUS) CRN 31031, 2 credits. Counts as an upper-division elective.
