The Celebración de Mariposas is a cultural celebration that honors the achievements of graduating students. It is open to everyone. The cultural celebration also honors families, friends and those who have supported them through their academic journey. The graduate celebration was created by students for students to bring awareness to their own stories.
Participants must:
1. Undergraduate and graduate participants must have formally applied for graduation through Weber State University and be eligible to participate in Commencement.
2. Participants must be graduating from the university corresponding one of the following terms: Fall 2023, Spring 2024, Summer 2024.
3. Participants must be present at mandatory Celebración de Mariposas meetings and rehearsals. (Date/time TBD)
Apply by April 12 to be part of the Celebración de Mariposas.
